Bjorn is a tier 2 black forest enemy with a large health pool, so bring damage that counters it rather than a longer fight. Fire is the reliable answer — it's weak to fire, while blunt, pierce, and frost all deal reduced damage and spirit does nothing. It drops bjorn hide, bjorn meat, and a bjorn paw, with a chance at a trophy, so it's a hunt worth taking once you have fire ready.
