Overview
The Greyling is a low-tier creature that spawns in the meadows. It drops resin, which you'll want for torches and campfires, so it's worth killing when you see it. It is very weak to fire — a torch or fire arrow ends it quickly — and resistant to poison, so save your poison weapons for something else. Chop and pickaxe damage do nothing to it, and spirit damage leaves it untouched.
Tactics
Greylings are tier 1 creatures found in the meadows. They have low health, so even early weapons will put them down quickly. The main thing to know is what does and does not hurt them.
Fire is the standout choice — they are very weak to it, so a torch or fire arrow ends the fight fast. Poison is a poor option; they resist it, so save poison weapons for something else. Spirit damage does nothing to them at all.
Chop and pickaxe damage is ignored entirely, so axes and pickaxes are the wrong tool.
