Overview
Eikthyr is the first boss you'll face, and beating him unlocks the next tier of progression. You summon him at the Mystical Altar in the Meadows using deer trophies. He drops the Hard Antler, which is needed to craft the Antler Pickaxe — your first way to mine copper and tin. His Forsaken power cuts stamina drain while running and jumping, which helps a lot early on.
Preparation
- Locate the Mystical altar in the Meadows before you are ready to fight.
- Confirm you have the deer trophy offering on you.
- Clear the immediate area around the altar of greylings and other distractions.
- Rest and repair before placing the offering; the fight starts the moment you do.
- Place the offering at the altar to summon Eikthyr.
- Use the terrain and keep your distance; Eikthyr has 500 health and hits hard in melee.
- After the fight, collect the hard antler and the eikthyr trophy.
- Return to the altar to activate the Forsaken power: reduced stamina drain while running and jumping.
