Overview
Yagluth is the fifth boss, fought in the Plains. Summon it at a stone altar using fuling totems. Defeating it grants the forsaken power, which gives resistance to fire, frost, and lightning, and drops the yagluth thing used to summon the next boss.
Strategy
Yagluth is the fifth boss, fought in the plains. Summon it at the stone altar using 5 fuling totems. It has 10000 health. It drops the yagluth thing and the yagluth trophy. Defeating it grants a Forsaken power that provides resistance to fire, frost, and lightning.
Preparation
- Bring the fuling totems to the stone altar in the Plains. The altar is where you summon.
- Clear the immediate area of fuling camps and deathsquitos before you start. You do not want adds during the fight.
- Make sure your workbench and forge are upgraded as far as you can take them, and repair everything before summoning.
- The fight is long. Bring your best food and potions, and keep a spare set of gear at a nearby base in case you die.
- Yagluth's attacks are elemental. The Forsaken power you get for killing him grants resistance to fire, frost, and lightning — but you do not have it yet. Prepare accordingly.
- The altar is open ground. Build a small shelter or raised platform nearby for a rested bonus and a place to recover stamina.
- Summon only when you are ready to commit. You cannot pause the fight, and the totems are consumed.
- After the kill, take the yagluth thing and the trophy. The thing unlocks the final crafting tier; the trophy goes on the sacrifice stones.
